Linear actuators from the V15 series are used for sensitive linear adjustment of actuators in heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology as well as in the industrial sector.

The linear actuators in the V15 series are available with a force of 10,000 N to 15,000 N and a maximum stroke of 120 mm.

The aluminium and zinc die-cast housing design in combination with a permanently lubricated steel gearbox with sintered bronze plain bearings allows the actuators to be used in a wide temperature range and in a harsh operating environment. The technical design corresponds to the actuators of series N. The limit switching is force-dependent. This force switch-off can be combined with a positioner for a precise position or for modulating control operation. The mechanical force cut-off ensures that the force is applied without current as specified by the valve manufacturer, even in the event of a power failure. In addition, the force cut-off protects the valve from damage if the travel is blocked. One limit switch for each end position is available as standard. They are designed as changeover switches and can perform additional functions such as end position indication or sequence control.

Additional force and auxiliary position switches as well as potentiometers are available. An electronic positioner for precise position or modulating control operation is also available as an option. By installing a relay, several actuators can be controlled simultaneously via a common contact. ‘Open/closed’ markings on a column of the lifting unit indicate the respective position of the valve in conjunction with the sliding surfaces of the spindle nut. A solid flange is available for mounting the actuator. The connection to the threaded spindle is established by means of a driver supplied.
